Virtual Avatars Interview! 6 Questions about VR Models: First Jobs & Campaigns

Virtual Avatars – Over a year of development, investment, hard work, phone calls and of course creative concepts, that’s how long it took until the idea of Virtual Reality became reality. In spring it finally happened, the first virtual fashion show of MarcCain at the Berlin Fashion Week, with our Zoe and three other digital avatars, developed especially for the brand. After that, “diversity” was extended to another area, digital people, in Buffalo’s new commercial and online campaign respectively. After the first jobs, commercials and the first virtual fashion show, we met our Head of Creative and owner for an interview. How is virtual reality, how are the virtual avatars received in the first weeks?

VR in advertising: It’s all about entertainment!

Virtual Reality has never been as big in advertising as it is today. At the latest since the movie Matrix, by the way, 3 new parts are being produced, the real and the virtual world are mixing more and more! Today we spend many hours in front of the smartphone and just like Hollywood, it is almost always about entertainment. If you have a good story to tell, you want to hear more about it! Even with virtual avatars, it is ultimately the story that makes people interested little by little and makes, even to followers.

For marketing agencies, advertising agencies, a completely new way to implement ideas. No matter if light, gravity, locations, with virtual models there are no limits anymore. We in Europe go one step further, we not only develop our own digital avatars, we also develop digital avatars for brands, as mentioned at the beginning. How will the world change by 2030? VR will be a part of it.

It’s all about entertainment!

Now we learn more about the first VR jobs and projects with Zoe & Ella, our virtual models, from Stephan Czaja (CM, owner):

Why Virtual Reality?

How did the work with virtual models come about?

Technologies have always been interesting for us, besides our model agency we also have several software tools. Accordingly, we are always looking for new solutions when it comes to fashion, advertising and marketing. Everyone knows how much Instagram and influencers have changed the world. Although no one knows exactly where the person lives, what they are doing, whether the picture is current, there are accounts with millions of fans. At the same time, digitalization is increasing more and more, processes can be automated, possibilities for artificial intelligence play an ever greater role. Why not use these mechanisms in the fashion industry, in marketing and advertising?

Until now, there was only one Creator, from Los Angeles. Almost as new as us, but which started about a year earlier. Of course, with sufficient capital from Silicon Valley. Unfortunately, we didn’t have that and accordingly it took us a little longer.

At the beginning of the year it was finally time for the first virtual fashion show with four virtual and eight real models, all in a fashion movie. After that, we continued with a diversity campaign. Four absolutely unique models and influencers, plus one of our digital avatars. Right now we are talking about new ideas, e.g. also trade show concepts and presentations. But our next concrete project will be the first publication in a fashion magazine. We have just set up the team for this, in the classic way with photographer, stylist, make-up artist and social media representative. Everything that goes with it.

What do customers say about VR ideas?

We are the first VR agency in Europe, so every job is the very first of its kind. Individual challenges, teams, ideas and deadlines. How did clients react to VR in the beginning?

Not only in Germany, we are the first in the whole of Europe! Interestingly, also with cross-border cooperation, between Israel and Germany. So also quite fitting to the concept of Europe!

Honestly, the customers are still very, very reserved! In Los Angeles, of course, you have your finger on the pulse of time; here, new ideas are taken up and implemented immediately. In Germany, it takes a little longer. Customers are sceptical whether you really need something like that. But skepticism always prevails at the beginning. While in the USA campaigns are made at the same time with high fashion brands from the haute couture, here you need a lot of time and explanations. Do we really need it? Does anyone want it?

It’s always the same with new technologies. But that doesn’t stop us from bringing new ideas to the world! As you can see in the US, it can work. What we need now are simply first movers, trendsetters.

Avatars, avatars for brands and e-commerce

What are the advantages of working with virtual campaigns and models?

I wouldn’t say advantages directly, rather a different type of production, which in turn brings with it completely different prerequisites.

Let’s start with the classic customer in online retail, for example. Every new season, garments are produced, shipped for weeks in containers, then distributed from the central warehouses to the individual boutiques. In between, the photos have to be produced, which is usually in a very tight time window. If the photos are late, the garments cannot be advertised and sold online. Not just online, of course, but throughout the offline world as well.

Our technology goes even further. On the one hand we have the virtual models, on the other hand we can completely digitize garments but also all other products, usually with only three photos. Even the fabrics, patterns and colors are absolutely authentic. Even the gravity of the clothes is calculated by us. The big advantage is all too that customers can produce their media quasi already directly with photos from the production. So while the garments are still on their way to Europe, the media for marketing and advertising are already finished.

Let’s stay with the classic online shop customers, 20 garments are still relatively easy to produce, 2,000 already more difficult. If you assume that with high quality maybe twenty are produced per day, it takes 100 shooting dates until everything is ready. We calculate everything via server and accordingly 2,000 garments would be done quickly, with different posing, light settings and more. Of course, it can also be done less elaborately, such as simply with a white, plain studio background. Likewise, different perspectives can be changed.

Then another advantage, because at photo shoots can always drop out a person. With assistants perhaps still manageable, as soon as it comes to photographer, make-up artist, stylist, model it becomes more difficult. After all, the entire production often depends on the work of a single person. Productions with virtual models or digital avatars, on the other hand, are completely free of time and place, which makes such photo shoots extremely flexible and minimizes the risk of something going wrong.

Here directly the next advantage, production and photos can be post-processed. In regular photo shoots, the results are there and must be accepted as they are. New perspectives, angles are not after producible without that the entire team must be booked again.

Produce virtual campaigns

What is the process like, from the initial idea to the concept to the finished campaign, how does a photo shoot with virtual models work?

In principle, the rough process is the same. We create a concept, this is implemented and used in the end in media and advertising.

But what is very different is the complete freedom that you enjoy here. You are not directly dependent on locations, even a desert shoot is feasible in the depths of winter. We can travel to all kinds of places, like a museum recently in our diversity campaign. Without ever really having been there!

This of course makes creative processes much more intense, freer

However, the other mechanism around production is the same. Targets are set, then work is done to meet them.

First virtual fashion show in Berlin @ FW

You had the first virtual fashion show with the German fashion giant MarcCain. How is such a fashion show with virtual models organized?

We had several special features right away. Perhaps briefly this aspect: for the fashion show our Zoe was booked, so a digital model, a virtual avatar, whatever you want to call it. In addition, three new avatars were created, especially for the client and for this fashion show. A special challenge besides all the work, but a real fun! After all, everything that was thought, said or philosophized can be implemented here. In cooperation with a Berlin production company, we were actually in four different virtual locations.

Similar to a photo shoot, the digital fashion show is not very different from the previous one in terms of organization. We have to think about the location, or the setting in the background. Suitable faces have to be found, the new parts of the collection have to be ready, as well as accessories, even if it is only in digital form. Then there is the planning of the music, the sequences, choreographies, length, everything that belongs to a fashion show.

As a fashion show agency, we have of course already some experience here, among other things, we organized the last final show of the Berlin Fashion Week. A big event with a 20 meter long swimming pool catwalk. Of course, we let all this experience flow into new, digital and virtual projects.

Future VR in media?

Forecast: How do you think virtual models will change the fashion world in the coming years?

Let’s just say, by 2030, 20% of social media accounts will be virtual. It’s not just about “influencers” and “models.” Digital avatars will also take on the role of presenters, introducing new products, perhaps doing the next briefing on long-haul airline flights. There will be more creators and more brands using virtual avatars for their marketing purposes.

“Virtual Influencers Conquer Instagram with Storytelling” – LOUT Magazine

“Today three more virtual influencers come to life”, the headline in LOUT Magazine. Yesterday the first commercial with Ella was released! As a virtual influencer she sets new standards. She is not designed with programs, but generated by program code. Lil Miquela now has almost 3 million followers. At the same time, the new trilogy of the Hollywood blockbuster “Matrix” is being shot, virtual avatars have long been present in the media. Today the first article was published in Germany, because on Saturday the time has come: Ella runs on her first runway, the first Fashion Week! Did you already know? Cocaine Models is the first agency in Europe with virtual influencers! Read more about the topic here: Virtual Influencers.

The time has come: The influencer agency Socialmediaone is launching its first three virtual influencers online today. Their names are Zoe, Ella and Linda and they will be flying as models to Moscow Fashion Week this weekend. After that they will visit their first agency in Germany. Advertising, Models, Lifestyle! Function in the marketing mix

Advertising agencies – advertising is a broad branch in the field of marketing. But what does everything count among them? And why is advertising one of the best paid jobs in the model business? In addition to poster advertising, flyers, catalogues, advertisements and general print advertising, advertising clips, both for TV and the Internet, are also part of the range of advertising. Through the instruments, for example the carrier media, companies try to polish up their image on the market or to set it at all. And I do it deliberately!

You are as a model part of the marketing strategy of Brands

Well worked out marketing strategies are behind an ultimately simple advertising campaign that is spread through the media. The companies try to address their target group directly and to communicate with them on a different level, also to influence them. The aim of this is to make customers feel addressed, identify with the company and finally increase the sales market. In order for the company to achieve these processes optimally, it is important to find the right models for the right advertising. Ultimately, it is these that carry the company’s message to the customer.

Advertising in national markets: commercials and shootings for “all”

Washing machines, laundry stands and detergents. Advertising is much more than fashion and new smartphone. Household products, insurance and supermarkets. For national markets, advertising is produced that is close to the end consumer, less in terms of values such as “lifestyle” and international “jet set”. Here one tries only rarely to arouse the international life feeling in the consumer, mostly it concerns the advertising agencies here around familiarity. Instead of high class parties, in national advertising families tend to drive their new car into the garage, where they simply make a fresh pizza at home in the oven. The family meets at the table, everyone laughs! In the next spot, friends sit at the lake grilling while they drink a cool drink. Afterwards a family father and his daughter are happy about the cheap car insurance.

As a model in advertising, you naturally have countless areas in which you can become active. Just a glance at your mobile phone shows you all shops, all websites, all companies book models or buy picture material. Looking back at the advertising posters, it’s not just fashion companies. Banks, insurance companies, automobile manufacturers, telecommunications companies, they all advertise.

What challenges are there as models in the commercial area?

Many New Faces work well with fashion because their facial expressions are still relatively rigid. That makes her kind of cool and as long as you’re very young as a model, it works. At some point, however, the demands will rise. From the first shooting with five models, who play a group of close friends for a commercial, up to one of the most difficult tasks in commercial photography: family shootings! Therefore a little insight into how difficult it is to capture emotions in the perfect moment from all involved. There are also children on the set, no professionals and maybe a family dog who doesn’t always do everything on command.

Family shootings with kids and spouse

For example, you must learn to interact with children and other models. For a single photo, the same motif is often shot over several hours. They are all just waiting for all models to convey the perfect emotion at exactly the same moment. For example, the father should throw a ball to the child, while the mother joyfully clasps her hands and the dog lies perfectly. So the scene is repeated, over and over again. Really exhausting! With every single shot you have to bring out the emotion again and again. A really challenging job that requires a lot of practice and skill.

Large campaigns require a large team – for a single photo

Especially photos that look simple on the advertising poster have often been produced with a lot of effort and large teams. The campaign is initially planned in the advertising agency over weeks and months. Afterwards, photographers will be booked for the photo shoot, technology, the entire location, catering and much more. Anything for a photo.

The success of a photo shooting depends at this moment therefore crucially on you. Your performance must be available at the push of a button. Your smile must be perfect even if you had a long night flight the day before. And even when you’ve barely slept. Even if you’re sick, you can’t stop a production so easily. Experienced models are therefore a lot of value on the set, they reliably bring their performance.

Advertising in international markets: Requirements are even stricter

While in the individual countries the focus is very much on the average consumer, international advertising often looks for international dimensions. That means: Perfect body, full hair, charm and style. International top models offer this mix.

Jeremy Fragrance: From Model to International Influencer

With so many different fragrances out there, it’s hard to keep track. Above all, it is difficult to find the right one for the given occasion. A scent remains in the memory of an encounter. Nobody can help you with this topic better than perfume specialist Jeremy Fragrance.

Who’s Jeremy?

Jeremy Fragrance was born on 05.02.1989, 1.90m tall, blue eyes, trained and single. Originally he worked as a model for Cocaine Models. Then 4 years ago came the spontaneous idea – why not make a Youtube channel and give men tips about styling and perfume? That’s how it all started, nobody could have guessed that his channel would catapult up so fast. Today he travels around the world in a tailor-made designer suit, this year alone he has already been to New York 5 times. He also had a Ferrari in between and lives the life thousands of young people dream of. He regularly uploads new videos to his channel, where he tests different fragrances or asks other people for their unbiased opinions about fragrances, mostly women are asked about men’s perfumes – what they think about it and whether they would like to smell it on a man.

Jeremy’s morning routine

You don’t become a perfume professional overnight, you have to train your sense of smell. In his office in Hangelar (North Rhine-Westphalia), he believes that his long shelf contains the 100 best perfumes in the world. On another sideboard next to the impressive perfume collection are the 55 most important fragrance oils. Time for his morning routine – each bottle is gradually opened and smelled. As soon as a mistake is made in the assignment, ten push-ups are made and it starts all over again. Only in this way can he guarantee that he can always give his viewers the best tips – says Jeremy.

The Successes of Jeremy Fragrance

With 500,000 followers on Youtube, which are constantly increasing, he is considered the largest perfume influencer in the industry and that worldwide. So it’s hard to say exactly what his successes are, because his whole career seems like one big success. Still, there are a few moments that stand out. Only this year he won the Consumer Choice Award of the Fragrance Foundation and flew to New York, where he was awarded the prize for his Vlog “5 Reasons to wear Fragrances”. His video “Top 10 Most Complimented Best Mens Fragrances of all Time” has an incredible 2.8 million views and is the most watched video on his channel. Last month he was also on German television again on RTL Exklusiv, where he was widely reported as the biggest influencer of his genre. Now he is working with the “Michael Jackson of the perfume industry” on his own fragrance, which is due to be launched in 2019. His demands on his own fragrance are very high, it only comes out when he thinks it is the best fragrance in the world. That sounds like a pretty high goal, but for someone who only ever gives 100% like Jeremy achievable – we are excited!

What does Jeremy Fragrance do in his spare time?

Jeremy doesn’t really need time to “switch off”, as his job as a perfume influencer is far too much fun for him. It’s a full-time job and hobby. For fun he never goes out to eat or play billiards, in the evening he rather deals with comments under his videos, which he reads himself, which takes a lot of time. Almost every day Jeremy goes to the gym, he attaches great importance to living a healthy life. Complete renunciation of alcohol, smoking and only Matscha tea and healthy food. That requires a lot of discipline, but Mr Fragrance has it.

The video shoot of a successful Youtubers

We accompanied Jeremy during the shooting of his latest Youtube video and had a look behind the scenes. It was very interesting and surprising how such a successful Youtuber makes his videos – completely spontaneous. Camera set down, light briefly adjusted and “start” pressed. A totally relaxed one was finished after 2 minutes – you would think there is an incredible amount of preparation every time, but that’s not how it is. Just a lot of experience. After that follows the turning off of the content, also that is fast turned off and already he has a video. Of course it still has to be cut, but that’s no problem for a professional like Jeremy. Of course the question arises – don’t you run out of ideas when you talk so much about perfume? Jeremy’s answer to that is a clear no. When you’re behind a topic like him, you always have something to say.

What makes Jeremy Fragrance?

Why is he so successful? That’s a question you don’t have to ask yourself once you’ve seen a video of the influencer. Charming, funny and authentic – that’s Jeremy. If he is more than 01:59min late, he does 20 push-ups, that must be and requires a lot of discipline. However, this is invited without exception, even if it happens at a prize-giving ceremony in New York in front of running cameras. It’s also important to know that Jeremy never gets paid for his opinion by perfume manufacturers, that’s something he really values. He wants to give an unbiased, honest opinion about scents to his viewers and that’s exactly what he does. From women’s fragrances to men’s fragrances you will find everything you only want to know about the topic in his videos. If he were to accept such deals, he would no longer be able to remain true to his own concept, and that is what matters most to him. How it goes on with Jeremy and what he will achieve in the future you can see on his Youtube-Channel.

Everything is there: customers, bloggers, editors, models and media representatives. In order for everything to be perfect, even in the marketing after the fashion show, some aspects of the agency must be taken into account. If you have not planned or even visited any fashion show yourself, you will find here all the important cornerstones for planning a fashion show with the help of a renowned agency – like CM! !

As a rule, every fashion show focuses on a few key points! At the end of the article you will find a complete checklist (do it yourself).

Fashion Show Agency: We are planning the perfect staging of fashion

First of all, let’s take a more general look at what the most important points of a fashion show are and answer the question of why an agency is extremely helpful in planning and what should be considered in the first concept?

Why should I hire an agency for my fashion show / that of a client?
A fashion show is an extensive media event, so when planning for a fashion show must be thought of a lot. Besides the models, the location and the designer fashion, other elements play an important role. From music to lighting to guest service, there are a few things that can make a fashion show a complete success. One thing is especially important here: A fashion show has to convey a unified picture in which customers, bloggers, media representatives … evoke corresponding emotions among all guests as the models step across the catwalk with the new fashion collection.

Each planning is composed of different factors, small and large. Organizing a fashion show is not that easy. Depending on the complexity of the project or the customer’s requirements, the organization stretches for days or even months in the run-up to a fashion show, when, for example, even complex stage sets are added. It’s about much more than just the show, it’s about: offer creation, organization, possibly moderation, music editing, show-optimized, model booking, arrival and departure plan, nights (if necessary, desired), check fitting, Rehersal , Choreography, contracts, customer arrangements, dress rehearsal, schedules, schedules, clothing log, handover at the end, customer meetings, interface model / customer, etc.

The new fashion collection on the catwalk

1. Needed List – All details of planning / PR / Show in bullet points

What does an agency have to consider in the concept for a fashion show? Together with the client, the agents of the fashion show agency create a so-called “needed” list (in short, a classic requirement or todo list). In this first briefing, all important points are noted that are necessary for a successful fashion show in the sense of the customer, for example, a designer, advertising agencies or the PR agency. When all the points are neatly recorded and details such as catering and rehearsal room have been considered, we work as agency of our Kick Off Meeting for the show. Thereupon, the consultation, tailored exactly to the customer, takes place in person or on the telephone. In this much more defined, the models, the selection of music, the staging of the show regarding styling and choreography, rehearsals, castings and much more discussed.

This individual consultation varies, as described above, in intensity depending on the customer’s budget. After the consultation, we sat as a fashion show agency to the creation of the show concept and its presentation.

2. Model Casting – The perfect models and measurements for the fashion collection

Only after the presentation, the selection and the occupation of the models begin. Either an open casting begins, but usually a casting with preselection of the models. (Casting invitations are only for models that correspond to the corresponding type.) Following is a fitting of the models instead. Here, the selected models try on the collection outfits and the individual stylings are adjusted exactly, usually by a fashion show agency stylist or a specially commissioned stylist. The agency also takes care of the music and adapts it. More about the perfect casting process here: Casting Agency.

3. Choreography – A detailed planning of the individual “pictures” (scenes) with music

As a rule, the fashion show agency also takes care of the fashion show music, in some cases the customer also takes care of it himself. The music cut will be presented, the beats will be taken care of by the DJ and adapted to the choreography of the fashion show. This is important because the overall staging of the fashion show must finally be consistent. Music is generally very elemantar for a successful fashion show, because music conveys emotions and a certain atmosphere that influences the entire show. On Youtube are already optimally put together playlists for catwalks and fashion show videos. More about the different running styles can be found in the article: Haute Couture & Pret-a-Porter.

The choreographer designs “pictures”. That is, he worries about how the models act on the fashion show. It makes a big difference whether it is for example Haute Couture & Pret-a-Porter or a fitness fashion show in the context of a sports fair. Depending on the environment, location, audience and customer, individual scenes are created that optimally present the fashion collection. The show must be staged excitingly, so that the audience, no matter whether row 1 or row 8 are enthusiastic and then talk about fashion.

Preparing a fashion show: planning, marketing and PR

4. Public Relation – We inspire the right people from the label

When planning a fashion show, the organizer (agency or Do It Yourself) should clarify some questions in advance. For a perfect fashion show, possible problems in advance should be weakened, so that the designer and his helpers can devote themselves explicitly to their own tasks on the big day.

First, an exact date for the fashion show should be planned. It should be noted that on the desired day, no other major event takes place in the area. Otherwise it could come to a competition and potential buyers of the fashion show do not appear for time reasons or priority setting for the fashion show. The holidays and vacation time should not be ignored! A calculation should be made as to which times most visitors are expected, similar to the TV ratings. The function of the press work must be secured, that is: when, where and to what extent should be reported on the fashion show. Further advertising measures, such as poster advertising or similar, must be considered and the invitations organized and printed. The question is raised as to which people receive an invitation or are placed on the guest list.

We recommend to organize such big events always with a lead time of at least 4 months. There is enough time to invite important people like VIPs, bloggers and media representatives.

The show – location & guests of the fashion show

The target group of the fashion show and thus the presented collections must be clearly defined. For booking the location, the maximum number of visitors should be determined. The location should be tailored to the fashion designer and the style of his fashion collections. The designer’s vision is conveyed not only by the actual collection presented, but also by the atmosphere of the location. An elegant red carpet design, for example, fits better in an exquisite noble location than in an urban underground club. The technical equipment must be checked, so that not only on the day of the fashion show defects are detected. The staff must be booked, for example, for drinks, the music system, lighting technology or the cloakroom. Finally, it must be thought out how the cards come to the guest. Say: Is there a ticket sales, invitations or reservation options? And how are the guests informed about the various purchase options? In addition, seats must be reserved for the press and photographers must be given opportunities to take organized photos.

Directions & Reception – Welcome to the fashion show

During the selection of the location it has to be clarified, which possibilities there are for the audience, to reach the location. Say: Is there enough parking? What is the connection with public transport? The reception is an important entry point for the entire event at fashion shows. Here the guests notice if the fashion show was well organized. Each guest must be welcomed exclusively, for example in the form of a sparkling wine in the foyer and a clue to the wardrobe. When international guests arrive, the welcome and moderation will have to be in different languages, at least in English. The duration of the moderation should be adapted in advance perfectly to the show and the vision of the designer.

5. Rehearsal – final dress rehearsal for all models of the fashion show

Duration & Models – casting, choreography and running sequence

Of course, the fashion show must be timed in advance, that is, the fashion show is structured and set the duration. The structure provides a benchmark to which all stakeholders should adhere. Of course, there may be deviations. The number of outfits to be presented and the models will be worked out and adapted to the duration of the fashion show. It creates a concept. Weeks before the fashion show usually takes place a big model casting. The models are selected under certain criteria. Shortly after the fashion show, the so-called fitting takes place. The models try on the different outfits from the collection to be presented. It is determined which model presents which outfit. When this is clarified, the models begin to train the desired choreography and running sequence. Each model can present different outfits from the collection on the catwalk. The time in which models can move in the backstage area is calculated, usually everything has to go very fast. The choreography on the catwalk is determined in advance and rehearsed. Make-up artists, stylists and dresser are organized.

Continuing Organization – The General Rehearsal for Management

After the fashion show is over, guests will wonder if and where they can purchase the designs shown. When organizing the fashion show, these issues should be clarified. Does a sale take place after the fashion show? How are the guests informed? Are there enough fitting possibilities? How should the process be?

6th fashion show – The big moment for fashion designers

The process of the show – from the opening to the end

In a fashion show, the selected models enter the catwalk in a certain order, after a certain choreography. The designer can develop freely, there are no requirements, only a general framework serves as a guide. The opening model is of great importance to the designer. The first impression of the fashion collections of the designer on the audience counts and shapes the whole, following show! Likewise, the graduation model acts as an important element of the fashion show. This usually presents the highlight of the designer collection. In the audience sit the press, buyers and celebrities, as well as fashion bloggers or fashion-enthusiastic spectators. Each model presents at least one outfit on the stage, mostly followed by several. For this, the models have to be fast, because the outfit has to be changed behind the stage under time pressure. The choreography must not be interrupted. On the catwalk, the models can not stand the backstage stress, they walk unimpressed and resting on the catwalk.

7. Press Relations – After the show is before the show!

Now it starts, PR! Ideally, detailed lists with contacts to press representatives and PR agencies should be known in advance. These contacts should be provided with photos, texts and, if possible, videos right on the day or the day after. Because the magic of a fashion show can quickly go out when the next big fashion week starts in Milan, New York or Paris. The easiest way is to place your own fashion show in online magazines. It gets a bit harder to get into big magazines like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar & Co. Therefore, it is advisable to approach not only the planning of the fashion show months in advance, but also the PR planning for the fashion show!

Oliver Rudolph: Portrait, Fashion and Commercial Photographer

Oliver Rudolph, 26 years young and from Cologne, has been working as a photographer for eight years. He discovered his passion by chance and thus started as an event photographer in the industry. Not exactly an easy start, since a high willingness to work for little money is often expected. But it didn’t stay that way for long. Oliver tried his hand at other areas of photography such as editorial, beauty or commercial. This allowed him to develop quickly. High goals and role models with a higher level of photography have always been part of his profession. These spurred him on again and again and brought him to the point where he is now.

Now New in Job Postings: Retouch & Photography Internship at CM!

New York, Milan, Tokoyo, Paris & London – Fashion Photographer Oliver Rudolph Has High Goals

Five years ago, he would never have expected to grow so quickly as a photographer. Of course, Oliver Rudolph still has great role models and high goals today. Someday he would like to travel to Tokyo and shoot in the most beautiful locations there. To be successful in the photography business, a high willingness to perform is required. Often a 7-day week is standard – there is hardly much free time left. No problem for Oliver, because he lives for his profession. You notice this especially if you have been to one of his shootings. He always tries to create a relaxed atmosphere to work in, so that especially the model feels comfortable in front of the camera. He focuses on capturing the inner radiance in the pictures. Especially for this a relaxed and friendly relationship with his models is important. Furthermore, patience plays an enormous role for him, because so far no one has managed to shoot the perfect photo at the first go. But this is needed in this tough business.

In addition to magazine publications or customer campaigns, his photos can also be seen on his social media channels. For Oliver, this is a very important presentation opportunity, because it allows him to expand his customer network. One of Oliver’s dreams is to have Miranda Keer in front of his camera, preferably in a light-flooded, clean location, because that’s how he loves to shoot. In the studio he usually only shoots application photos. However, knowing him, he will still try out a lot and climb the career ladder further up.
