Here she spends her spring break and is for the first time in a model shared apartment where she lives with other international models and goes to shootings during the day. Afterwards she meets many international, high fashion clients and is able to make a name for herself on the catwalks in Paris. With all the hustle and bustle you might think it quickly becomes too much, but Lara convinces with her curiosity and her drive

Lara’s path to becoming a model – history, goals and plans

At just 15 years old, Lara came to one of our castings. Since her graduation and schooling is our top priority, we initially only booked her with occasional test shoots and talked to our partner agencies in the background. These are all convinced and are really tearing around our girl. No wonder, with 1.80 meters and her face nothing stands in the way of a great career in the industry. From now on, it is important to use the vacations she has until her graduation as well as possible, so that she is directly known by customers at the age of 18. There are big goals in the pipeline for Lara, including New York. But until that happens, we continue to look forward to building and spending time with loved ones.

Miami Yacine is a German speaking rapper (for those who don’t know him yet) of Moroccan origin, raised in Dortmund. He himself belongs to the Dresden group KMN Gang. Miami Yacine is the most successful German rapper and has over 120 million views on his music video Kokaina alone. In 2012 he released his first mixtape completely free of charge – today, after all the success, it’s hard to believe! He only became really famous with the trap single Kokaina in September 2019. Miami Yacine was not only successful on YouTube but also in music sales and of course made it into the German music charts. His single now has platinum status.

A few weeks ago we met together in Berlin with the music production of Miami Yacine, together with our models Boris, Louisa, Linn and Flower. The video shooting was indeed spectacular, as most of the scenes were shot in the evening and at night. In an old huge factory hall, with neon lights and strong light effects on 50 meters of distance. The designer music video has everything that goes with it. Miami Yacine is a great artist who has already achieved a lot and will certainly achieve a lot more. The song Designer and the music video deal with the high fashion industry and Haute Couture. Who doesn’t love them, the big brands around Prada, Hermes, Balmain, Gucci or even Dior? Miami Yacine has gathered all these high fashion brands together in his music video designer.

Boris in particular did a fantastic job in video production as the main model. Although he was flown to Berlin on the same day, every recording was made. We are very happy about the cooperation and can also recommend you Miami music video for the song Kokaina, with which Air 2016 had its big breakthrough in Germany:

  12. What needs does the product / brand fulfill?

First Contact – initial discussion and ideas development with the agency

At the first briefing on the upcoming video production, we talk to our customers about the parameters mentioned in the new video campaign. As a rule, the conversation is initially limited to a 30-minute meeting – after which you let the impressions take effect and subconsciously develop initial frameworks for the concept. At the beginning of each production, the team gathers to discuss the final details. Then the models are prepared by the make-up artist, while videographers prepare the set with helpers and assistants. On some sets the whole day is produced, others change the location. With well-organized technology and high-quality equipment, all productions are done quickly – preparation is everything! Depending on the production then also technical devices are used. Gimbal: Quiet camera pans for breathtaking scenes

With the gimbal camera shots can be simulated, which used to be elaborately made with rail technology. This technique stabilizes the camera and lets the videographers work freely. In short, the gimbal replaces the classic rail system. Camera shots are very smooth (smooth) even though the videographer is running or even running alongside the actor or model. Only now the videos are finally put together and configured when it comes to light but also all other important settings and configuration of the video material. At the end, the cutter will produce different formats and versions. Why?

There are various streaming platforms, including TV, cinemas, the entire online world and of course social networks. It will display video generated by HTML5 animation or banner ads for other online stores in GIF format. Likewise, individual formats for Instagram but also Musical.ly or other versions, faster and sleeker for Facebook, while another version for YouTube goes long, about 12 minutes.

Change requests and editing

If everything goes well after the customer’s change loops, all of these different formats are exported and subsequently provided to the customer. The fact that the media can be used across networks increases the success of the videos. It increases the reach, hence the interaction and, ultimately, the sales results or the desired results of the campaign.

Shooting trip into paradise: Sedcard update for spring / summer

Shooting trips to fantastic locations, high cliffs with the sound of the waves crashing or endless beaches. All this can be fulfilled quite easily in Europe, on one of the most beautiful islands that the Mediterranean has to offer, Mallorca! Away from the tourist, Mallorca is a beautiful spot of earth, with its beaches, the cool breeze from the sea and the almost always good weather. Therefore, we also thought, we flee a few days into the sun, must be! Therefore we packed our things, all equipment and moved to Mallorca for 14 days. Our models gradually flew in and we made great photoshoots at different locations, which will definitely upgrade the model portfolios of our models for the upcoming spring and summer season, with photos by Oliver Rudolph! In the video, Robin accompanies the whole journey with the camera and takes you to the airport, on outdoor trips in the car, in search of locations or in the romantic little towns that are mainly on the coasts in Majorca.
